MY FIRST READING turned out to be fun.

Last night's reading at the Prince George Library was fun. I had a great audience. Great questions. Everybody made me feel very welcomed. Unfortunately, I smashed my finger getting wood in yesterday morning, so typing is painful. I'll be back to talk about my evening as soon as my finger heals.

Thanks to Margaret for making it such a successful evening. And thank you to those who attended. You were a great bunch.

Glad to hear it went well; I didn't doubt that it would. (But my condolences on the sore finger!)

Yay!

But may your finger pop back out to it's pre-smashed typing glory soon. And "stay off" it until it's better.

Thanks, Careann. I enjoyed myself. I hated to see the evening end. Except we had 68 kms to reach home and it was snowing and blowing. But yeah, you were right: I did fine.

Good for you - may your finger get better... ;D

Thanks, Marty. I'm holding it up like some proper lady. lol

Keith: lol. Oh, o'kay dad. I'm staying off my finger. I'm holding it in the air while I type. It makes typing the _A_ difficult but, heck what can I say? I've become a compulsive writer.

And why did you think it wouldn't??? Young lady, we've had this conversation before! I'm happy for you, especially since you had fun! I'm sure everyone there enjoyed it too----they all came because they wanted to hear YOU!!! You, John Grisham, Stephen King, on tour together soon----I see it in the stars!!!

Oh Lordy! haha. Okay. On tour with Stephen King would be fun. He's quite a character.

John Grisham? I'd spend the whole time google-eyeing him with my mouth hung open.

I never liked Stephen King until I read his book, "ON Writing." Now I see him in a different light----one of the best books I've read
btw, how's your finger?

Guess ya need to learn to type like me - 2 fingers on the right & 1 on the left.

Glad it went well & happy to HEAR that none of your guests were hearing impaired.

ON WRITING is worth reading at least a couple of times - but I'd never go on tour with the guy. He's a Red Sox fan.

April, don't you worry. Your blog is inspiring. You can only stretch yourself so far. I really enjoyed Mr. Randall's post.

Goodness, Dave, Mr. King's a Redsox fan. Oh Lordy. I had no idea! Thanks for warning me.
