STYLISH BLOGGER AWARD

Amanda Borenstadt at A Fortnight of Mustard kindly bestowed upon me the Stylish Blogger Award. Thank you, Amanda!

I'm to tell you 7 things about myself:

1. I love cats; there are 4 currently living with us. All strays.
2. I can't watch any movie or television show where animals are injured without crying.
3. I'm afraid of heights, yet went zip-lining in Jamaica!
4. I began my career as a storyteller at the age of two. Apparently, I danced from foot to foot on the hearth while reciting my fascinating tales to visitors.
5. Our 9th grand-baby is due in September.
6. When I was a little girl, I told everyone I was going to have 18 children and I'd support them by being an actor.
7. I don't know how to sew, knit, or crochet. And I can't make pastry.

Now I'm suppose to pass this award along to 7 bloggers. I hope you'll take time to visit them all. In no particular order, they are:

1. Kim Smith, Writing Space
2. Christine (my MuseItUp editor), ChrisChat
3. Barbara Ehrentreu, Barbara's Meanderings
4. April P., Cafe of Dreams
5. Heather P. Soundoff
6. Laurel, Rainy Days & Mondays
7. Kathryn N. Perry, Katt's Komments.

It may seem as if there are a lot of awards online, but I look at it as a great way to meet fabulous new people. These seven are just a fraction of the many, many wonderful bloggers out there.

Happy Blogging.

Oops, just realized there are no men. Ps. I love men!

Congratulations Joylene and I wont hold it against you that there are no men amongst your 7, after all I've been privileged to receive this award from you in the past.
I hope you're feeling better after your bout of illness, have a great weekend.

Aha Joylene,
Blogger and writer extraordinaire.
Yet another award bestowed upon your awesome self. I am not surprised.
Congrats on receiving the much coveted, highly sought after, 'Stylish blogger Award'.
Thanks for sharing more nifty neato stuff about you. Even if you love cats, I still think you are okay.
And you can be forgiven for not including any dudes in your list. Which reminds me, I have this award waiting in the wings to post up myself. Gosh me, shy and humble me, got the same award, yet again. I'm so not worthy.
I shall duly check out the wonderful recipients you have passed this award onto. Well, except one. I guess you realise I shall be staying with one of the folks on your list eh! :)
Happy blogging n' stuff, Joylene.
I'm outta' here........

Thanks, Paul. I'm feeling 80% better. But my dear husband is looking a wee peaked. Poor dear. I warned him. I'm feeding him chicken soup for dinner tonight. Have a wonderful weekend, Paul. And thanks for your wonderful blog.

@Hi Karen. Hope you're having a nice weekend. Yes, apparently I started telling tales as soon as I learned to speak. My mother said I never failed to surprise her. LOL.

@I love the nickname Lionmother, Barbara. It conjures up all sorts of interesting scenarios. I'm checking out your blog now.

Katt, you're timing couldn't be better. I've got oatmeal raisin muffins fresh from the oven!

Love you too!

Congratulations, Joylene! You're very deserving.

I'm guessing you didn't have 18 kids since you're not an actor..Or are you? lol

Joylene Butler said...

LOL, No, Laura, I didn't have 18 children! And acting didn't fill the bill. Writing it is. Thanks for stopping by. Hope your weekend is great.

Congratulations, Stylish Blogger!

Can we have photos of your grandchildren, please?

Joylene Butler said...

Thank you, Grandpa. I will post more pics. I do have pics of Selena and Reece, Johnathan and Chastin that you can find under my labels. The rest are coming. Aren't grandchildren marvelous!

A well deserved award! Congratulations, Joylene. I like finding out new things about you like this. Would it make you feel young if I told you September will bring the arrival of our first *great* grandchild?

Joylene Butler said...

Thank you, Carol. A "great" grandchild? Wow, that's terrific. I read that and thought of our eldest grandson Johnathan having a baby...
nah! LOL. He's definitely not settled down enough for that.
