It's a Boy!

I'd like to introduce our newest grandson Blake. His parents Cory and Shannon are thrilled (understatement). Blake looks a little relieved himself. Wouldn't you love to know what he's thinking?

"So, you guys are my parents? Kewl. Hi Dad."

or maybe:

"How come I couldn't look like my mum? She's really pretty."

or:

"I should probably mention now that I'm cheering for the Canucks."

or...?

Awwww...heehee...Blake looks so cute. He's wondering what the heck's going on and what's up with all the attention. And mummy and daddy look so happy. Congrats!!

Blake's precious! Just want to hold him! (Maybe he's hoping no one pinches his cheeks!) Congrats!

You've got a beautiful family!

@Thank you, Karen. Yup, it's wonderful.

@Hi Kittie. I know what you mean. I can't wait to kiss those cheeks. Sadly, they're on the other side of the country in New Brunswick. Probably 3000 miles or more. Glad you're doing all right after such terrible storms.

What a darling! He looks adorable. Don't you just want to nuzzle into his sweetness? Our first Greatgrandson is due in exactly two weeks... can hardly wait!

Thanks, Carol. I'm absolutely beside myself with joy. I get to see him in approximately 35 days. Or thereabouts.

Hi Joylene,
That's wonderful news! And not only will Blake possibly be cheering for the Canucks, who knows, he might end up playing for them, eh :)
Congrats to Cory and Shannon. And wow Joylene, I cannot believe you are old enough to be a Grandma, eh :)

Thanks, Gary. Playing for the Canucks? Why not! Anything's possible. And yes, sadly, I am old enough. Our eldest grandson is 20!

Hi grandson Blake - good to meet you .. and it looks like you'll be as handsome as your Dad - sounds a better deal to me than being as pretty as your mother!! Not sure about your grandmother though??!!

Congratulations all round - crumbs I see your eldest grandson is 20 .. boy Blake you'd better start growing!!

Well done - many happy days ahead .. Hilary

Congratulations Granny! I'm sure it's a wonderful feeling to hold a newborn in your arms, knowing you are going to help make him into the person he'll become.

Best wishes,
Cher

Hey, Joylene! Many congrats on the birth of your grandson! What a cutie! And many congrats to his parents as well! Do they live in Canada near you?

Enjoy these moments! Congratulations again!

@Cher, great words. Sadly, we don't get to hold him until next month. Blake lives in NB with his parents and we live in central BC. Opposite coasts.

@Lauren, hi. And thanks. Our son is stationed in Gagetown near Fredericton New Brunswick. Thank God for Skype!
