Last week I was tired. Good excuse, eh? Sunday morning I pulled a muscle in my back. The result is fifteen minutes max in my computer chair before I'm back flat on my back with a heating pad. Makes for a long long day. But it has made me grateful for those small things that I so often take for granted: walking, sitting, moving.

I'll be back at it as soon as I can.

  1. Ooo, ouch!! I hope it eases off soon for you. In the meantime maybe you'll be able to get lots of reading done and percolate ideas for more writing projects. (And catch up on sleep! By the time you put this behind you perhaps you won't be tired anymore. Here's hoping.)

  2. I sure hope you're right, Carol. In fact, I'm sure you are. I'm already anxious to get back to work. Slowly but surely. Meanwhile, I'm reading The Bourne Legacy, and I'm 3/4 way thru.

  3. Get better soon. Glad this didn't happen in Jamaica.

  4. As an expert in the world of back problems - Heat will reduce the discomfort but ice will reduce the inflamation for a quicker recovery. The other part of the cure is Oreo cookies & lots of milk. Get better soon.

  5. Thanks, Keith & Dave. Yes, the timing isn't great, but it could have been worse. I'm doing what's required to make sure my ole back is back to normal fast. Heat and Oreo cookies!

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please come in and sit for while. We will talk about writing. We will share our dreams. Then I will serve tea and cookies. Home made and Gluten Free.
