  1. That was cool. Thanks, Joylene. Were these kids from a particularly dance school and just happened to meet up on Robson Street?

  2. Hi Joylene,
    I shall be heading down Granville Street later on this year.
    Might just dance all the way over to 'The Bay'.

  3. Hi Katherine. From what I gather, there are street dancers in Vancouver that perform for the crowds. Whether these kids were part of that, I'm not sure.

  6. Hello Joylene,
    I shall ask one of my many Vancouver friends if they would like to videotape me. I've had my moments of fame. Have been featured on BBC radio on a program titled: 'Pods and Blogs'.
    More importantly, I have never lost an 'egg and spoon race':-)
    Speaking of Vancouver; my brother is a well-known Vancouver playwright. His name is Andrew Templeton.

  7. @Karen, I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you check out Canwest online, you'll find more like this.

    @Gary, I'll check it out. I'm afraid I don't recognize your brother's name, but I'm a long way from Vancouver and not very savvy when it comes to playwrights. Though, my brother-in-law Steven Cree Molison probably knows him. Steve's an actor in Vancouver, stars regularly on many Vancouver series like Shattered, Supernatural, Stargate, and The Dead Zone. He was the biker in Brokenback Mountain.

  9. Very cool. And yeah, it's a feel-good video. I heard there was street dancers all over the place up there during the Olympics. Must be a blast.

  10. @Sam, glad you enjoyed it.

    @Robin, you said it all.

    @Jack, I wasn't able to attend either, but thanks to TV, it was the next best thing.

  12. I agree, Cher'ley. These kids made me want to get up and go for a walk. LOL. Ah, to dance like that again. Remember those day?
