DEAD WITNESS, an excerpt...

The ice went off the lake on Wednesday. It snowed this morning. So, either that means spring is in the air or Cluculz Lake is a weird and wonderful place.

Jo Ann Hernandez has graciously posted the first chapter of my suspense thriller Dead Witness on her blog. Hope you can stop by and check it out.

  1. Hi Joylene,
I think that spring is in the air on Cluculz Lake and that it is also a weird and wonderful place; for all the right and inspirational reasons.
I shall now visit the Jo Ann Hernadez blog and check out the posting of your first chapter of 'Dead Witness'.
    Have a lovely weekend.
    With respect, Gary

  2. You are very kind, sir. Thank you! Have a lovely weekend yourself. Hope spring has sprung.

  3. Winter was milder this year. Maybe your ice was thinner and less dense? If it makes you feel any better, it snowed here for an hour this afternoon. (Granted, it stopped later and I went out and worked in the garden for a couple hours in 9 degree sunshine.)

I remember that first chapter... a great start to a great story. Nice to have Jo Ann post it. :)

  4. Thank you, Carol. Yesterday was deceiving. Blue sky, warm sun, until I stepped outside. Freezing! Looks like we weren't the only ones suffering though. Alberta had a severe storm. Strange weather patterns. Really does make one wonder what we're doing to the environment.

  5. Thanks, April! Happy springtime.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please come in and sit for while. We will talk about writing. We will share our dreams. Then I will serve tea and cookies. Home made and Gluten Free.
