Hubble Ultra Deep Field 3D

Thank you for sending this to me, Vicki. It's fascinating, amazing, and mind-boggling. And in honour of the anniversary of the incredible rescue mission for Apollo 13, April 11, 1970, this seems more than appropriate to share.

  1. That was amazing. And since time has passed since they first received these pictures, I wonder how many of these galaxies are gone now?

  2. Awesome! We've learned to understand how small we are as individuals on this earth but in relationship to the galaxy and then to all the other galaxies, we're so miniscule as to be imperceptible to anyone except God. It puts his love for us in a whole new light, doesn't it?

  3. @Dennis, I never thought of that. But you're right. By the time these pictures reached us, so much had changed.

@Carol, I'm glad you said that. It does give a deeper meaning to life.
