A Mystery Writer's Lament.

A friend sent this to me. Signing in the Waldenbooks by Parnell Hall. Enjoy.

If you get a chance, stop by Vivienne Diane Neal's blog.

Vivienne is graciously featuring my suspense thriller Dead Witness.

  1. I saw someone at Borders the other day who was having the same experience. Yikes. Just the thought of that brings on the urge to give up working on Chapter 16 and go do the laundry!

  2. LOL, don't you dare. There are many things you can do to make your signing experience fun. When the time comes, it'll be great.

  3. I saw a link to this on Twitter and then posted it this morning on Facebook. Great minds...

  4. Keith, that's excellent. Great minds is right!

  5. It's funny in a knot-in-the-stomach kind of way, isn't it? Don't we all have that nightmare? But as you say to Vicky, it's not how all signings go.

  6. I've had good signings where I only sold one copy of Dead Witness. If it was only about money, I'd have quit ages ago. But every signing is a learning experience. And I love talking to writers. You know the type, they approach cautiously and hesitate before admitting that they dabble in writing a bit. I remember those days.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please come in and sit for while. We will talk about writing. We will share our dreams. Then I will serve tea and cookies. Home made and Gluten Free.
