Review of Dead Witness

I'm beaming right now, even if you can't see. And no I'm not snapping a picture to prove it. Martha Engber has posted a review of my novel Dead Witness on her blog. Honestly, the heat in my face is boiling. Thank you so much, Martha. I'm speechless!

  3. Hi Joylene,
I've just read that glowing endorsement over at Martha's site. Well done, you!
And you're "speechless"? Say it aint so, Joylene. Wait a second, I guess you can't, what with being speechless n' stuff. LOL
    Take care and keep smiling:-)
With hushed respect, your way, Gary.

  4. Yes, it's true I'm speechless, but not enough to stop from wishing you a wonderful week, Gary. Yes, I'm feeling pretty satisfied. LOL. And to think just yesterday the lady on the telly said life was going to be tickedy-boo good for Tauruses this year.

What does tickedy boo mean? I'm taurus, too, and I'd sure love to have a great year....Meanwhile, I hope yours is great.

  18. Hi Judy. Thanks so much for the kind words. And thanks for asking, "Tickedy boo" was first recorded by Danny Kaye in "Merry Andrew". It's mostly heard here in Canada now. Means: things are going well. The consensus is it began in the British army way back.
