I'm at IWSG today

I'm over at IWSG's site today with the post: What's Your Book About? Hope you can stop by and check it out. I know, I know. I haven't written a writing related post in a very long time.

Most of you already know we're in Bucerias for the winter getting dental work done in between soaking up the sun. (-28C at home!) If you haven't visited Bucerias, here's a few photos to entice you.

  1. Okay as I look out my office window at six inches of snow and still coming down, I come upon your pictures. Green with envy here.

  3. I thought the two people in the first pic were trees - at least until I realized they had feet. lol The pics are wonderful. I hope the dental work goes okay. I'm heading to IWSG to read your article. Your posts are always a pleasure to read. :)

  4. Joylene,
Those are some lovely picture. The pink building, the blue gate and the palms trees are calling to me. LIke Lexa, I thought those guys were trees too...half dead palm trees to be exact, until I looked again. :)

  6. Hi Joylene .. I hadn't realised that's why you were there, yet realised you were away from home for a while! Gorgeous looking place ... and just being able to unwind must be great.

I'll be across to IWSG ... if you find a pale woman on your doorstep - tis me .. sounds an ideal place to have a rest and catch up!!! Cheers Hilary

  7. Hi, Joylene -- I also didn't realize why you were there . . . hope all's going well. Since you'd been so ill earlier with winter bugs, it's nice you're in some warm weather. Enjoy every ray as this winter freeze is hanging around. ~~ We're now in the process of preparing our place to sell this spring. Make haste slowly, eh?

  9. Oh, I feel the gentle warm breezes when I look at these fantastic photos! Gorgeous...you captured the place beautifully. Not exactly paradise if you have to go to the dentist. Yikes! 80 and sunny here in FL. Not sure what 80 F is in Celsius, but for me it's great. Enjoy your sun and sand and escape from winter!
